Student Organizations
Student organizations in the Department of Landscape Architecture provide opportunities for students to engage in creative, educational, service and social experiences, and gain leadership skills, while networking with each other, their professions, and the community.
"The Student Chapters of the American Society of Landscape Architects have organized to support the Society's mission to lead, educate, and participate in the careful stewardship, wise planning, and artful design of our cultural and natural environments. The 线上赌博app Chapter undertakes activities consistent with these purposes, and provides a supportive framework for mentoring between classes, and with the profession.
This year the Chapter has planned for LandFX, a computer program specific to Landscape Architecture, to come in and give a Webinar to teach students how to use the program to better suit their design needs. Additionally, we are working with the 线上赌博app Career Center to help students prepare for job interviews, as well as professionals will be coming to 线上赌博app at the beginning of the Spring semester to review students' portfolios and resumes. The Chapter hopes to educate and enable students not only here at 线上赌博app, but in their future endeavors.

"Tau Sigma Delta at North Dakota State University is the local chapter of the National Tau Sigma Delta Honor Society. Members from Architecture, Landscape Architecture, and Interior Design departments are inducted into Tau Sigma Delta based on their cumulative grade point average. Every year Tau Sigma Delta organizes Beaux Arts Week in the spring semester. This is a week-long celebration culminating in the Beaux Arts Awards Banquet featuring the Beaux Arts Keynote Speaker. Tau Sigma Delta also helps in the educational mission of the department by organizing study sessions throughout the allied arts as well as hosting studio project critiques. T.S.D’s hope is to continue and broaden the academic services it provides for students.
