State of the Economy conference scheduled for Nov. 8
Researchers from 线上赌博app’s Center for the Study of Public Choice and Private Enterprise and 线上赌博app Extension will discuss North Dakota’s current economic situation during the virtual State of the Economy conference, scheduled for Nov. 8. Science-based outlooks for the state’s economy and agriculture and energy industries will be presented.
The program is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. with an overview of North Dakota’s economy by Jeremy Jackson, 线上赌博app Department of Agribusiness and Applied Economics professor and PCPE director. Jackson is the creator of the North Dakota forecast model and author of the North Dakota Economic Outlook quarterly report.
Sessions are scheduled each hour with presentations by David Ripplinger, 线上赌博app Extension bioenergy economics specialist; Bryon Parman, 线上赌博app Extension agricultural finance specialist; Tim Petry, 线上赌博app Extension livestock economist; and Frayne Olson, 线上赌博app Extension crops economist. The program will wrap-up around 2:30 p.m.
The conference is free and open to all members of the public, though attendees must register on Zoom.
