In recognition of 线上赌博app President Dean L. Bresciani’s 12 years of leadership, alumni and friends have made gifts totaling more than $3 million to establish a first of its kind endowed chair in leadership. The President Dean L. Bresciani Endowed Chair in Leadership will honor and support outstanding campus leaders who are advancing 线上赌博app’s mission.

The fund’s establishment was unveiled at the 线上赌博app Foundation’s Evening of Distinction event on April 28.

Bresciani was named 线上赌博app’s 14th president in 2010. His 35-year career has included academic, administrative and political aspects of public higher education. He has held numerous national leadership positions, including the Association of Public and Land-Grant Universities and the NCAA. He concludes his 线上赌博app presidency on May 16.

“President Bresciani’s legacy of leadership at 线上赌博app has been transformative and touches every corner of campus,” said John Glover, 线上赌博app Foundation president and CEO. “The people whose lives he touched wanted to honor him into perpetuity by establishing this endowment. The funds will be used to support scholarships, advance strategic priorities by the chairholder and enhance excellence at 线上赌博app.”

The President Bresciani Leadership Chair will be an appointment made by a selection committee that will include 线上赌博app’s president, provost, faculty and staff senate leaders, student government leaders and Foundation leadership. The appointed position will rotate every three years. Faculty and staff members, program or center directors, department heads, coaches and others with a record of leadership success will be eligible to hold the chair.

The 线上赌博app Foundation is accepting gifts to support the endowment. At the time of the announcement, more than $3 million had been gifted to the fund.
