Student panel to discuss free speech and academic freedom
The Northern Plains Ethics Institute at 线上赌博app is set to host a student panel on free speech and academic freedom. The event is scheduled for Tuesday, May 3, at noon in the Memorial Union Nueta room. The discussion also can be viewed via Zoom.
Panel members include Luna Zauhar, Seth Lumley, Carter Eisinger and Joy Dahlen.
Zauhar is a senior at 线上赌博app double majoring in political science and international studies with an emphasis in pre-law.
Lumley is a junior majoring in political science and minoring in pre-law.
Eisinger is a mechanical and electrical engineering student at 线上赌博app, and will graduate in fall 2022.
A fourth-year student, Dahlen is a pharmacy major with a minor in business administration.
The public forum is the final segment of the “Exploring Academic Freedom/Freedom of Speech” project of the Northern Plains Ethics Institute at 线上赌博app, Tri-College University, Humanities ND, 线上赌博app Student Government, and the 线上赌博app College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences.
Zauher, Lumley, Eisinger and Dahlen will lead the conversation and engage with audience questions.
The event is provided free of charge to all 线上赌博app stakeholders and the public.
