Search begins for dean of libraries
线上赌博app Provost Margaret Fitzgerald has announced the search committee for the next dean of libraries. The group will conduct a national search.
David Buchanan, associate dean of the College of Agriculture, Food Systems, and Natural Resources, will chair the committee.
“The dean of libraries position is one that affects the entire academic community at 线上赌博app,” Buchanan said. We need a person who fully embraces 线上赌博app’s declaration that we are a student-focused, land-grant, research university and has a clear vision for the future of the 线上赌博app Libraries. The search committee, with the assistance of faculty, staff and students, hopes to identify a large and diverse pool of candidates and will strive to help outstanding candidates know that this is a great opportunity.”
Buchanan said the committee hopes to have a new dean in place by July 1, 2022.
