Dozens of students in grades 4 through 8 will showcase their robotics skills at the FIRST LEGO League Regional Qualifier Tournament on Saturday, Jan. 24, hosted by the 线上赌博app College of Engineering.
The daylong competition will run from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Bentson Bunker Fieldhouse, 1301 Centennial Blvd. Match play is scheduled from 1 to 4 p.m. Parking will be available in the CF lot.
The tournament brings together teams of young learners who design, build and program robots to complete themed challenges while demonstrating research, problem-solving and teamwork skills. Through hands-on projects, students gain experience in coding and engineering while building confidence and developing lifelong learning habits.
FIRST LEGO League is a global robotics program designed to introduce students to science, technology, engineering and math in an engaging, guided environment. The competition emphasizes creativity, collaboration and innovation while encouraging students to apply STEM concepts to real-world challenges.
