4-H provides hands-on, real life experiences through projects, activities, and events to youth in Logan County. Use the links below to learn about the North Dakota 4-H Youth Development program, 4-H Camp, and the 4-H Foundation.

Most 4-H events and activities are organized by local 4-H clubs with the help of staff from 线上赌博app Extension County Offices. If you'd like to learn more about 4-H in Logan County or if you are ready to enroll or volunteer, please contact us or complete a request for information.
All youth, ages 5 to 18, may join any of our existing clubs, form a new club with a group of members, or be an independent member. Our current club are:
Little 4-H Club on the Prairie
- Current Club Leader: Megan Berger
- Parents are requested to lead, co-lead, or find a volunteer for at least one meeting.
- Little 4-H Club on the Prairie meets monthly on Sunday afternoon. This is a general interest club that participates in a wide range of activities based on the interests of its members. Activities include guest speakers, field trips to local areas of interest, and instruction on various project areas.
Napoleon Dynamite 4-H Club
- Current Club Leader: Angie Gerhardt (If you are interested in leading this club, please contact us.)
- Parents are requested to lead, co-lead, or find a volunteer for at least one meeting.
- Napoleon Dynamite 4-H Club welcomes youth of all ages to join the fun! This club was formed in the fall of 2024. We focus on upholding the values of the 4 Hs - Head, Heart, Hands, and Health - during our monthly or bimonthly meetings. We love to have fun while developing life skills and showcasing special talents.
Logan County Archery (Minimum Age: 8+ years)
- Current Club Leaders: Shanon Erbele, Dustin Hammond, and Josh Becker
- The club is divided into two practice divisions by age: younger archers and older archers.
- Practices are held at the Community Center (fall/winter/spring) or Wildlife Club (summer).
- New members should enroll during the beginning of September to receive training in safety protocol and basic archery skills.
Livestock Judging Team
- Team Coach: Josh Becker (assisted by parent volunteers)
- Members attend livestock judging practices (usually 2x/week during contest season).
- Members compete at area contests at Junior or Senior level.
- Contests include judging classes of beef cattle, sheep, swine, and goats
- Members must provide oral reasons to a panel of judges on selected classes.
- September 7, 2025: End of Year Banquet
- September 16, 2025: 4-H Sign Ups Open for 2025-2026 Season
- October 5 - 11, 2025: National 4-H Week
- October 31, 2025: Trunk-or-Treat
- December 21, 2025: Caroling and Potluck
- April 2, 2026: Meat Raffle Drawing
- June 24 - 25, 2026: Logan County Achievement Days
- All 4-H members MUST submit at least ONE project to Achievement Days (per Logan County 4-H Council Constitution & Bylaws).
- July 9 - 12, 2026: Tri-County Fair
- July 17 - 25, 2026: North Dakota State Fair
Enrollment for new members opens in September! Returning members can renew their enrollment through 4-H Online.
- Cloverbud members, ages 5 to 8, will want to choose "Cloverbud" for their project selection. This program emphasizes the development of age-appropriate skills, abilities, and involvement over competition.
- Regular 4-H members, ages 8 to 18, can choose from a wide variety of projects and participate in the competitive aspects of our local and state 4-H program.
Enrollment in Logan County is free. Special projects or events may occasionally require out-of-pocket expenses; however, we encourage you to talk with a leader if finances are a barrier for enrollment.
Volunteers help make 4-H possible! Previous experience working with youth is not required. We have many resources for volunteers, including Leader Guides for various projects, access to materials for checkout, & funds for supplies.
The most important qualifications are:
- A desire to work with young people to help them learn new things & gain life skills.
- A passion to provide youth with positive experiences in a safe & welcoming environment.
